Position Title: Team Lead
Work Location: Dubuque, IA
Shift: 1st shift, 5:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. (Overtime: Daily and weekend overtime may be requested based on production needs)
Pay Rate: $40/hour (W2 through KellyOCG for John Deere)
Assignment Length: 12 Months

Position Summary

The Team Lead will supervise and support a team of production employees while ensuring performance objectives are met across safety, quality, and delivery. This role works closely with management to coordinate production schedules, meet production targets, develop team capabilities, resolve conflicts, and promote continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate is an effective communicator and problem solver who can motivate a diverse team, make timely decisions, and maintain a collaborative production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of production employees.
• Ensure team members understand their roles and responsibilities related to:
  • Safety
  • Quality
  • Delivery
• Collaborate with management to develop and support production schedules.
• Monitor progress toward production targets and help address issues that affect output.
• Identify skill gaps and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
• Provide constructive performance feedback.
• Hold team members accountable for their responsibilities and contributions.
• Address and resolve team conflicts effectively.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Encourage employees to share ideas for process and productivity improvements.
• Communicate production expectations, priorities, and updates.
• Make timely and effective decisions based on available information.
• Support a safe and compliant work environment.
• Work daily and weekend overtime as dictated by production needs.

• Ability to work onsite five days per week.
• Ability to work daily and weekend overtime as required.
• Degree or equivalent related work experience.
