Position Title: Machine Maintenance Technician

Assignment Length: 24 Months

Pay Rate: $42/Hr. (W2 through KellyOCG)

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.; Friday, 5:00 a.m.–10:00 a.m. (Flexible schedule and overtime may be required).

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to repair, rebuild, align, and maintain complex machines, machine tools, and mechanical equipment. This role requires strong mechanical ability, precision, and the ability to work safely with limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze machine failures and perform repairs, adjustments, and overhauls.
• Dismantle and rebuild complex machinery to close tolerances.
• Fabricate, modify, and install replacement parts.
• Fit and align gears, shafts, wheels, pulleys, and motors.
• Operate machine tools such as grinders, lathes, planers, shapers, and drill presses.
• Read engineering prints, manufacturer instructions, and sketches.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify alignment and tolerances.
• Inspect equipment and prepare reports on condition and future repair needs.
• Lubricate, clean, and maintain repaired equipment.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.
• Plan work sequences and obtain the necessary tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical maintenance and repair experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and analyze equipment failures.
• Experience rebuilding, aligning, and adjusting machinery.
• Ability to work with close tolerances and precision measurements.
• Ability to read prints and technical instructions.
• Experience operating machine tools and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Flexibility to work overtime and adjusted hours as business needs require.
