Position Title: Configuration Analyst

Location: Waterloo, IA
Pay Rate: $37/hour (W2 through KellyOCG)

Assignment Length: 12 Months

Position Summary

John Deere is seeking a detail-oriented Configuration Analyst to maintain accurate product configuration data across global product platforms. This role will support product structures, engineering changes, data quality, and configuration issues throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and audit product structures, BOMs, configuration rules, and engineering data.
• Implement product changes and engineering requirements in SAP, Windchill, iPPE, and related systems.
• Troubleshoot configuration issues affecting product builds.
• Support engineering change-management workflows and approvals.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, Parts, and Service teams.
• Provide guidance and training on configuration tools and best practices.
• Support global data-quality and process-improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of product configuration, BOMs, specifications, and engineering data management.
• Experience with PDM systems and workflow tools.
• Understanding of engineering change-management processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate across global and cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP, PTC Windchill, Creo Parametric, iPPE, or similar systems.
• Knowledge of variant configuration.
• Familiarity with cProjects, PPM, and workflow-management tools.
• Agricultural product or equipment knowledge.
• Experience with process improvement and global collaboration.
