Position Title: AI Engineer

Location: Austin, TX, Chicago, IL, Urbandale, IA, or fully remote

Pay Rate: $68/Hr. (W2 through KellyOCG)

Assignment Length: 12 Months

Position Summary

We are seeking an AI Enablement Engineer to build and maintain reusable AI tools, workflows, documentation, and resources that accelerate AI adoption across the organization.

This role will work closely with AI Enablement leaders and embedded AI coaches to turn successful use cases into scalable skills, agents, templates, and knowledge assets that can be reused across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an AI Skills, Agents, and Templates Hub.
• Develop reusable AI skills, agents, workflows, and starter templates.
• Create onboarding materials, documentation, and best-practice guides.
• Manage the intake, prioritization, and tracking of AI enablement requests.
• Help AI coaches package and scale successful team solutions.
• Maintain the quality, accuracy, and usability of shared AI assets.
• Track adoption and coordinate releases and updates.
• Improve the discoverability and reuse of AI solutions across teams.
• Help reduce duplicated effort through standardized AI capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• Strong Python development skills.
• Experience with GitHub.
• Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain.
• Knowledge of Model Context Protocols (MCPs).
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Experience with vector databases.
• Familiarity with harness engineering.
• Ability to build, document, and maintain reusable AI solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS experience.
• Databricks or other big-data experience.
• Multi-agent system design and development.
• Experience with AI adoption, onboarding, training, or change management.
• Experience building internal AI platforms or developer tools.

The successful candidate will help increase AI adoption, expand reusable AI capabilities, improve onboarding and knowledge sharing, and make AI solutions easier for teams to find and reuse.
