Location: Moline, IL
Shift: 1st shift, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. (Overtime: May include 10-hour days and weekends)

Pay Rate: $45/hour (W2 through KellyOCG)

Assignment Length: 12 Months

Job Summary

John Deere is seeking a Weld Manufacturing Engineer to provide frontline support for manual and robotic welding operations. You’ll troubleshoot production and tooling issues, help operators resolve quality concerns, and contribute to process and fixture improvements.

This position supports welding operations but does not involve performing welding applications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent manufacturing engineering experience.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Engineering background in mechanical, industrial, welding, or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality, tooling, and preventive maintenance.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.

Preferred: FANUC robotic-welding experience, quality experience related to weld processes, and familiarity with PLCs, line design, material presentation, and production-improvement tools.
