Position Title: Team Lead – Sheet Metal
Location: East Moline, IL
Assignment Length: 12 Months
Shift: 2nd shift, 2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m. (Overtime and Weekends: Required as business needs dictate)

Pay Rate: $40/hr (W2 through KellyOCG for John Deere)
Visa Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the near future for this position.

Position Summary

The Team Lead – Sheet Metal supports daily sheet-metal and manufacturing operations while providing leadership and direction to team members. The ideal candidate will have strong supervisory experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment and be capable of supporting safe, efficient, and productive workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support employees in a sheet-metal or manufacturing environment.
• Coordinate daily workflow, production priorities, and team activities.
• Support safe, efficient, and quality-focused manufacturing operations.
• Communicate work instructions, expectations, and updates to team members.
• Monitor workflow and help address operational or production issues.
• Escalate concerns and communicate status updates to management.
• Support changing business requirements, including overtime and weekend production.
• Use computer systems and Microsoft Office applications to document information and communicate with teams.
• Help maintain an organized and productive work environment.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with computers and standard business applications.
• Experience using:
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Outlook
• Ability to work onsite in East Moline, Illinois, beginning on the first day.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required by business needs.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Four-year degree strongly preferred.
• At least two years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with sheet-metal operations or industrial manufacturing.
• Experience leading production teams in a fast-paced environment.
