Position Title: Material Coordinator – X-Series
Shift: 3rd shift, Sunday–Thursday, 9:30 p.m.–6:00 a.m.
Overtime: May be required if requested by John Deere

Assignment Length: 24 Months

Pay Rate: $32/hr (W2 through KellyOCG for John Deere)
Visa Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future for this position.

Position Summary

The Material Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies to and between assigned departments. This position ensures materials are available according to production and shipping schedules and department priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedite the movement of materials, parts, and assemblies.
• Review production schedules and related information to determine material requirements.
• Confer with department supervisors regarding material needs and priorities.
• Identify overdue materials and take appropriate follow-up action.
• Track material movement and availability.
• Compile and maintain accurate manual or computerized records.
• Support production and shipping schedules by helping ensure timely material flow.

Required Qualifications

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple material requirements.
• Ability to work effectively with department supervisors and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using SAP.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Experience with SharePoint.
• Prior experience in materials coordination, manufacturing, logistics, production control, or a related field.

Education

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is encouraged but not required.
