Material Coordinator – 2nd Shift

Location: Milan, IL
Pay: $26.00 per hour
Assignment: 12 months
Schedule: 1:00 PM–9:30 PM
Overtime: May be required if requested by Deere

We are seeking a Material Coordinator to support daily operations, order management, reporting, employee communication, training coordination, compliance, and process improvement activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitor order queues, workflow progression, backlog, aged orders, and on-time delivery performance.

• Coordinate daily department priorities and follow up on action items.

• Identify at-risk orders and support recovery plans.

• Communicate process updates and operational information to production employees and support teams.

• Track productivity, quality, safety, and delivery KPIs.

• Coordinate training schedules and assist with audits and corrective-action tracking.

• Identify process gaps and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Maintain standard work instructions and department procedures.

• Coordinate supply needs, equipment requests, repairs, and service requirements.

• Support workforce planning and department scheduling as needed.

Requirements:

• Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.

• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Basic reporting, tracking, and problem-solving abilities.

• Metatarsal safety boots are required.
