Job Title: Safety & Ergonomics Analyst 

Shift:1st Shift (7:00 AM –3:30 PM), no overtime anticipated
Location:Waterloo, IA 

Assignment Length: 12 Months 

Pay Rate: $32 per hour (W2 through KellyOCG)

Position Overview

The Safety & Ergonomics Analyst will perform structured assignments to analyze and interpret safety and ergonomics data, ensuring compliance with regulations and John Deere standards. The role supports safety audits, ergonomic reviews, and corrective action plans, working under general direction within a collaborative team environment. 

Key Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze data, documentation, and correspondence to comply with safety regulations and health and safety management system requirements
• Conduct safety audits and risk assessments to identify noncompliance with company standards, processes, and applicable laws/regulations
• Participate in incident investigations and ergonomic reviews; assist in determining and implementing corrective actions
• Communicate results of analyses, risk assessments, and recommendations to appropriate work groups for awareness and action
• Conduct ergonomic assessments/analysis of products, processes, packaging,
  equipment, tooling, and manufacturing methods
• Assess safety and ergonomic risk for new or relocated equipment
• Deliver ergonomic training to supervisors, operators, and employees
• Document corrective actions and plans for ergonomics improvements 

Required Skills

• Experience with MS Office Suite (especially Word and Excel)
• Degree or certificate in Safety, Ergonomics, Engineering, or related technical
  field
• Strong data analysis and communication skills
• Ability to work onsite and under general supervision
• Open to recent graduates
