Job Title: Production Scheduler
Location: Davenport, IA
Shift: 3rd Shift | 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (must be willing to support alternate shifts as needed)
Assignment Length: 12 Months 

Pay Rate: $33/hr (W2 through KellyOCG for John Deere) 

Incentive: $1,000 attendance bonus after 90 days
Visa Sponsorship: Not available now or in the future

Position Summary

The Production Scheduler supports scheduling activities in the laser cutting and forming operations at the Davenport facility. The role requires working onsite, spending roughly 50% or more of time on the shop floor and the remainder in an office environment. The scheduler must be an effective team player, able to work independently with minimal direction, and possess excellent communication skills. 

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate production for laser cutting and forming operations
• Ensure production runs efficiently by closely collaborating with supervisors,
  engineers, and other schedulers
• Operate within both shop floor and office settings (approximately 50% each)
• Manage, analyze, and update scheduling and production data using MS Office (with intermediate Excel skills such as pivot tables and v-lookups)
• Utilize SAP for scheduling and related functions (strongly preferred)
• Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and other departments
• Support alternate shifts and work overtime as required by business needs 

Qualifications

• Preferred: 4-year degree in a relevant field with 1+ years of production scheduling
  experience
• Minimum: High school diploma/equivalent with 5+ years of scheduling experience in a production environment
• Proficient in MS Office; intermediate Excel skills required (pivot tables, v-lookup,
  etc.)
• SAP experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work onsite on the shop floor 50% or more of the time
• Flexibility to support alternate shifts as business needs change
